as far as names go, one good one for a ferret is "chaos".
becki had one by that name in the past and from what
i've heard it was VERY appropriate based on her activity level...
 
also, in fml 800, mike janke writes about Nutrical:

actually, it's probably got MORE sugar than some candies! :-)
if you look at the ingredients, you'll find corn syrup, molasses, all kinds
of goodies.  you should see escher zooming around in a sugar-induced buzz
after her daily dose of the stuff (post-surgery diet supplement) - she's a
total maniac and will gobble down as much as we give her...  and there's
usually a crowd of other critters trying to elbow their way in to get some
(do cats even HAVE elbows?).
 
one thing to watch for - don't give your fuzzies so much that they drop off
their regular food.  it was tough getting escher back to eating her science
diet at first because she loved the nutrical so much.
