Had an interesting experience with Scooter today that someone might be
able to shed some light on.

I took him to the park, as I often do when the weather's nice. He got a
LOT of attention from people; at one time, I had about eight people
gathered around looking at him and asking questions. Quite the charismatic
little weasel ;-)

Anyway, this particular park is on Bellingham Bay. I took him down to the
waterline to let him investigate (on a lead, of course) and he did
something that truly amazed me: He actually entered the water OF HIS OWN
VOLITION!

This is the ferret who shakes, cries and claws madly whenever he gets a
bath in warm water, yet apparently doesn't have a problem with standing
chest-deep in the Pacific Ocean. The waves startled him a bit, but that
didn't stop him.

Anybody had a similar experience?
