Just an amusing tidbit from sunshine (whose nose is just that little
bit flatter this week!):
I don't know about your ferrets, but whenever I go into the bathroom,
Sunshine comes running in (full tilt) and leaps up onto the edge of
the tub and in (so that I can pour a little *fresh* water for her).
Now, why this water is so much better than that in the box, I don't
know. But, she is pretty funny about that.
When I have guests and they don't know why she followed them into the
bathroom, it can be amusing. I have been told that she perches on the
edge of the tub and watches them "you dolt, it's the water, pour the
water, some water, please please, pleeeease!".
Got home from a long day collecting fish on monday (I am a biologist,
you see). Took my stinky pond scum covered *neoprene* waders into the
house, and put them into the shower so that I could rinse them. I
closed the shower door so that no ferrets could nibble on my wader
toes. I started the wash and headed back to rinse the waders.
Sunshine heard me coming, she charged ahead of me and did an amazing
leap, nose first into the shower door! She stood still for a split
second, then she shook her head ("OOOOWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEE, what was
*that*!"). Then she slowly peered up at the *closed* door. Being so
thoughtful and concerned, I laughed until tears streamed down my face.
Funny thing, all week she has run into the bathroom, then stopped in
front of the tub and looked.
MORAL of the STORY: LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP!! ;-)
