[Could yu fix your From: line? It's *badly* broken.]
I have recently subscribed to "ferret-list" and am enjoying it very much.
I have an "only ferret" named Elie Wiesel, and since taking a consulting job,
I find that I am home not nearly as much as before
and have less time (and energy) to play with Elie. Also, he seems to sleep
a lot. When awake, he is bright-eyed and friendly, but before to long he
goes off to sleep somewhere. Do ferrets sleep more in the winter? Would
a second ferret for companionship be in order? I love having a ferret, but
I do wonder if he gets lonely, as sociable as they are. Elie is about a
year and a half, by the way, a Marshall farms sable. I also would appreciate
it if anyone knows of breeders in the Baltimore/Washington area, or even
Northern Virginia, which they would recomend. Thanks very much,
from Gail and Elie
