Hi everyone.
I just thought I'd let you know about my new baby boy.  His name is
Calvin, and he is 8 1/2 weeks old. He is a blaze, with a little crooked
stripe on his head.  He came from Michelle and the Masketeers.   With all
of the talk lately about introducing new ferrets, and how some ferrets
just don't get along with each other ( my step-mothers ferret won't
tolerate any other animals at all ), I was kinda scared to introduce him
to my two girls, especially Brittany, she's the boss ferret.  I decided
it would be best to introduce them one at a time.  Abigail saw him and
went crazy to get at him, but when she got close she just sniffed him all
over and then decided that his ears needed cleaning and went to licking.
Brittany just sniffed at him once or twice then went to one of her
favorite hiding spots.  Today, she paid a little more attention to him
but not much.  I think that Abigail will just love him, because she is
always trying to get Brittany to play with her more.
I hope everything keeps going good with them, I think I'm going to keep
them in separate cages until I am sure that there are no problems and
Calvin is a little bigger and better able to defend himself.
 
Sorry to babble on so long, but I'm a proud parent.

p.s.  Michelle, Marie showed me the video, I think all of your babies are
beautiful, I hope that Calvin grows as big as his half brother! I will be
sure to send you pictures.
