Hi people. I'm a little worried right now because my baby, Caelan, about 4-5
months old, has been coughing and seems to have the sniffles. I'm probably
just a nervous mother, being a fairly new ferret owner and all, but I thought
I would ask and see what I should be doing and how concerned I should be.
Several days ago my roommate's friend stayed in the room one night and it
turned out that she had bronchitis at the time. Are ferrets susceptible to
bronchitis?
Another possible reason for this is that my room has always been pretty cool
because the radiator has been broken for a long time. On Friday it was fixed
and now all of a sudden the room is considerably warmer. I don't know if
this sort of temperature change could somehow cause a cold. Since the room
has been so much warmer he and my other ferret Damien have been sleeping on
top of the covers on my bed alot rather than under the covers where they used
to always sleep. He's also seemed a bit more lethargic since it's been
warmer.
What should I do and how concerned should I be??
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Jill (and Damien and Caelan)
