Carla -- Hmm, perhaps I did get confused as to who wrote what.  Maybe it
*was* you who was talking about finding a vet -- sorry `bout that.  But as to
the other thing (lifespans in pet store vs. private breeder ferrets) I'm
relatively certain Pam Grant made that comment; you just made a comment about
the proposed mortality study in the same issue.
 
By the way, Pam, if you do see Dr. Wardell, please tell her I said, `HI!'.
