Bill, please pass along these replies to our FML friends.

msg #141 Paul Engle. Run, do not walk, to another vet ASAP. Ferrets are not
illegel in Texas, and certainly not in Harris County, or Houston. You also may
want to read and pass on the info about Ferrets and Imrab 3 Rabies vaccine in
the 1993 Rabies Compendium of the NASPHV.

MSG #144 Leonard Bottleman. Castrated Hob??? Once a hob is castrated it
becomes a gib. A "vassectomized hob", is still a hob because he is basicly
intact, He can't "impregnate" the Jil; even though she will think she is PG
and come out of estrus. Usualy a gib will show no interest in mating and will
not perform the rites necessary to make the Jil develope the physical changes
of a psuedo-pregnancy. They still need a "vassectomized Hob" to "perform "
this action. Glad you took an interest in this matter and found the right info
that may save this little jil's life
