To Jason Creager concerning Fosgate -
Jason, has you vet run any type of bloodwork or done any type of
diagnostic techniques to find out what is wrong with Fosgate - Fosgate's habit
of taking a few steps and falling over, or playing for only a few minutes and
going to sllep is very reminiscent of a low blood glucose level, which is
commonly seen in ferrets with pancreatic islet cell tumors.
Rather than just say, "Yes it's his time", I would rather look at all of
the evidence, and a complete blood panel is the only way to get it....If your
vet doesn't know much about ferrets, find one that does. I'm sure that someone
on the list knows of a good vet near you...
