About the post-litter-box rear-end drag:
    Emmett does not drag his derriere after pooping, but instead
he swishes it back and forth as cutely as any shimmy-dancer! I think
this accomplishes the same purpose as dragging but it's more fun to
watch.
    Perhaps he doesn't drag because his cage is a "portable cat
play-pen" and the floor looks for all the world like a ktichen
floor--the no-wax kind. Dragging on that would be no fun. I like
this type of floor because the "poop drips" are easily wiped up
with a damp paper towel.
    Y'all ought to see this weasel shake--he's so dignified it's
