I can't believe that something like this can happen?  Even if the
ferret did bite someone does that mean that they is any reason for the courts
to cause all this fuss - it isn't like ferrets are out free like a crazed
Rotwiler!
        I've only had two ferrets for six years but never in that time has
either ever bitten me or anyone let alone drawn blood.  We all know this is a
joke.
        I have never written to this list before and I don't know what should
be done but at least we could get a petition going, right?
