Greetings! My guys, Felix and Ferdinand, have two sets of blue dots too.
The pet store where I purchased them informed me that they indicated that
the ferrets have been descented and neutered. They came with two post
cards to be sent to some animal record place (sorry forgot
where--somehwere in NY I think) which made it "official".

Felix and Ferdinand are about 7 months old now (my first ferrets), and
Ferdinand has always been attached to objects over people. He loves his
multiple stashes, and frequently will run between them depositing his
phone cord, inspecting it, and then dragging it off to another stash
spot. It's rather cute. Anyhow, Ferdinand has a tendency to give love
bites, often a little too hard. He'll lick, then bite. He's improved with
the use of bitter apple and "no!", though he still bites. The other day
he gently bit my pointer finger and began to try to drag me off to his
stash! I let him take me about a foot, and then couldn't help but laugh.
Anyhow, I thought I would share that story.
