I just wanted to inform all of you of the status of Bandy, my ferret who
had lost all the hair
on the last 2/3rds of her tail.

As I said above, she HAD lost her hair. It's remarkable but after
having gone without hair on her tail for almost a year, in a week, it
seems to have all grown back. The only change that I made was to start
feeding her raisins as treats. She got about 5 a day. Well, maybe
raisons to them are like the proverbial apples to us. :-)

Thanks for all the other replies from the loving people here concerning
her tail hair loss.

Also, yesterday I introduced her to Science Diet and the Purina One
Kitten food (I was giving her the cat variety before). I mixed her
regular Purina One Cat food with some Science Diet and some of the
Kitten food and gave it a few drops of Ferritone so she would be
interested in it. She first picked through the pile, but then started
eating some of the Kitten food. I don't know yet if she ate any of the
Science Diet.

Thanks from me and my gal.
