Hi all!
Well - I'm the proud new mommy of a 6-week (well - that's what the
lady said, but boy she sure looks small!) old sable female kit. She's
a doll for sure. My other two fuzzies seem to be adapting to her pretty
well. They get a bit rough with her sometimes (well - I think they are
anyway) - and she fusses at them. It could be frustration as Duncan
(the male) lays on her and pins her down. She's also a VERY demanding
little one. She makes the strangest little noise when I'm not quick
enough to let her out of her cage - or when I'm walking around the
house and I don't stop to play with her every time I walk by her. It's
probably a normal ferret kit sound - but this is my first baby. The
others were orphans I rescued as adults.
Here's the funny story:
I walk into the living room to notice my 19 year old calico cat "Kelly"
staring intently into the center of the "cat track ball" toy that I
bought for her a long time ago and she has been *much* too dignified
to bother with up to now. Well - when I peek over into it - who do
I see? Binky (new baby) INSIDE the track pushing the ball around the
circle with her nose! I thought I would DIE laughing. This is now one
of her favorite games. Imagine her future frustration when she grows
a bit - and can't get in there anymore....
Do I have the only *living* cat track ball toy? ;->
Have a fuzzy day!
Cheryl, Kelly, Punkin, Ferris, Duncan and BINKY!
