It seemed like a good idea, one that would appeal to him; a playmate
to help fill the many hours we're not at home. Boy, were we
surprised...
Silver is a neutered male about a-year-and-a-half old. We've had him
since he was 6-weeks old. Last Thursday evening we took him to meet
his playmate-to-be, a neutered female just less than a year old. He
spent the evening dutifully avoiding her advances. She was relentless,
but he just wasn't interested.
Anyway, we brought her home, hoping that the situation would soon
improve; unfortunately, it hasn't, at least not so far. Maybe over time?
Has anyone else had a similar experience? Any suggestions much
appreciated.
