Cathy & B.J.: my girlfriend's ferret Molly drags her bottom along the ground
after using her litterbox as well, and she has not been spayed or de-scented.
I guess that some ferrets feel the need to wipe up :-).  It's actually quite
funny to watch--it looks as though she's wearing a pair of pants that have
fallen down!  We can't figure out why she does this, as she really doesn't
"leave anything behind" as a result.  Beckett never participates in such
activity, even though Molly has taught her other things like pooping outside of
the litterbox and chewing on the insoles of my shoes... ;-)
