Hi everybody:
Well, my friend dropped off his furry today. I get to torment-- I
mean take care of her all summer. :) Her name is Gila, and she is pretty
small - a little bigger than the one I used to have.
She just spent the last half hour exploring the place, and has just now
crawled into her hammock. The cage that she is in is actually a big
bird cage, which I think is appropriate!
Why, you ask? Well, when I first told people I had a ferret, they would
ask "Does it talk?" So, I think a ferret in a Parrot cage is perfect! :)
I mentioned Gila a few weeks ago, but I will tell you about her again:
She has been spayed and descented, we don't know how old she is - could
be anywhere from 2 up (David has had her for a year, and she was
probably at least a year when he got her), she has a broken foot that was
never set, but doesn't seem to bother her much. She seems a little
skittish, but she probably just has to get used to me and the new place.
It will be interesting to introduce her to the landlady's dogs - definitely
supervised visits!
I am very happy!!! The company will do me a lot of good.
later.
Inez
