Kate here, saying ferrets, like two-leggeds, have individual food
preferences. Shasta loved a dab of yogurt or baby-food chicken or
bean burrito. Emmett haughtily turns up his nose at those!
   Emmett steals green beans, triumphantly carries them to a safe
corner, shakes them (I guess to make sure they are dead) and devours
them---and comes back to sneak another one.
  He also adores potato lefse and will sit up and beg for it (I tried
to swap a soft tortilla once but he turned away in disgust)
  A bit of banana or a dab of peanut butter are also current favorites-
and sometimes a few Deli-cat kitty crunchies atop the ferret chow--but
lefse is his "treat of choice." He likes raisins, Shasta didn't, but
they both enjoyed Cheerios. Maybe little Belka would like some of these?
