This is a special issue to let people know why things are slow in
the FML.
 
The FML, the FML computer, the links and even Chris Lewis (the FML
moderator) are all completely operational.  Unfortunately, the Internet
machine that's providing the gateway into the Internet (which includes
getting to the list exploder) is having some sort of problem with its
mailer.  At times it's taking 18 hours or longer for mail to be enqueued
to my machine from the time it gets to uunet.ca.
 
The FML continues to operate, but remember it's often taking two days
or more for an inbound message to be seen by everybody else.
 
Please have patience.
