I don't understand how considering ferrets wild animals can prevent
them from getting rabies shots, as in many parts of the world that's
something you try to give wild animals. Is there a reason?

I ask because in a few decades or so, it's likely we'll get rabies
here. Until we do, it's forbidden to import or use rabies vaccine
in Sweden, so I don't know as much about it as I would like to.

Before that, it will probably become legal to bring animals into
Sweden without quarantine, as long as they are vaccinated against
rabies, so I guess there's a lot of other stuff like heartworm
I'll have to learn about. :-(
