I did try the acoustic with pretty much the same results, strumming open
chords, no problem.  Start picking north of the 12th fret (especially the
high E string) and it's frantic Farrah!
 
Although I played (Bass) in a band for 6 years and still jam on occasion,
I still get comments from the human critics in my houshold, so I won't
be rushing out to cut a record anytime soon myself!  8-)

This definately appears to be the case and I've come to the conclusion of no
guitar practice until after our nightly "Ferret furlough".  I would like to
add a funny "note" (pardon the pun), my daughters have a Fisher Price keyboard
from a few Christmas's past and it was on the floor last night where one of
them left it. Lo and behold, I hear some random notes coming out of it and
look to find both furries doing their Jerry Lee Lewis impersonations. Being
ferrets, they of course had to check this thing out!  They were standing
on the keys and walking up and down the keyboard as they looked it over!
ROTFL time! The more noise they made the more they had to investigate it!
Neither of them appeared to be bothered by it so they kept us laughing
until they tired of it and moved on to more interesting territory.

I checked the label, it says: "Each tablet contains 68 mcg of ivermectin."
To date, as I mentioned in a previous message, I ground 1 pill down as
close as I can to powder, add a few drops of Ferretone and try to let
each (two) ferret lick a half portion.  Obviously they're not getting
exact portions but I haven't been able to come up with a better method
yet. I'm open to suggestions on this.  Should they each get a whole
pill to get maximum effect or is half good enough to do the trick.
 
Obviously, mosquitoes are not a factor at the present time. Do they need to
be given heartworm medicine year-round.  Again, we're talking New Hampshire
("Watch out where the huskies go and don't you eat that yellow snow!") and
I'm sure our quota of mosquitoes have "Snow birded" off to Florida to bask
in the rays and plan their return trip for the Spring/Summer.
 
(Note: To those of you living farther north, you have my sympathies! It's
 cold enough here, I can only imagine what you're having to deal with.
 Especially this winter!!  8-)
