I agree about the tuffy toys. My dog (scottie) enjoys his a lot and
gets quite jealous when the ferrets try to drag it under the bed.
They can't seem to get a single bite of rubber out of it so I've quit
worrying.
Also--I have two ferrets that are CERTIFIED to be from Marshall Farms
(a lab purchased them), both have two blue dots, and both were UNNEUTERED
and UNDESCENTED when I got them. I had them both neutered but did not
descent as they do not spray. I have seen at least two dozen other
ferrets with the same markings but no surgery. As a side note--my guys
that were neutered later are big, lithe, and muscular. The males that
were neutered early have more hetergeneous bodies and more fat. Is
this a general finding with others?
