Many people that are allergic to cats and dogs do fine with ferrets,
but many don't.  I recommend, however, that she stay away from
undescented ferrets and whole males.  The people that I do know
who are allergic tend to do worse when the ferrets spray and with
whole males.  (heck, a whole male will make almost anyone's eyes
water!  ;) )
