Color me clueless. What about Linatone? It's unsafe?
[Vitamin A is one of the main components of Linatone, and it's toxic
above the levels that the body actually needs. On the other hand,
a drop or two as a maximum daily dose is okay according to our vet]
Strange and Charm love the stuff.
Notes from the front: They've virtually stopped biting in the 2-3
weeks I've been working with them. No bites with blood drawn since the
3rd day. They're almost totally clueless on the litter box concept,
but some progress is being made. They only run around the room when
I'm around to supervise.
Charm bit Strange hard enough to draw blood on the back of his neck.
This kept up for a couple days (no healing -> mild worsening of
symptoms) so I started applying Bitter Apple to Strange's neck. A week
later, it's almost all better. Just slight pink marks on the skin.
They're both male, and "whole". As soon as they hit the 6 month old mark,
neuter/descent will follow. It's constant work/baths to keep the room
livable.
[Descenting is a bit hazardous, particularly with vets that haven't
been doing a lot of them. A rather tricky area to be working in.
Our vet recommended that neutering only be done, and that the decrease
in hormones will probably make descenting unnecessary. If the smell
is still objectionable, you can have the descenting done later.]
They are, however, terribly cute, and currently, their favorite toys
are shoes, and a small stuffed tiger at the end of a robe's
drawstring.
Hope this wasn't boring, just sharing some experiences...
