To Linda Doran:
Linda, I just want to publicly tell you and all of the rest of the
FML'ers what I said the other night on the phone. You did as much as was
humanly possible for C-pi over the last two months. We knew after seeing
her biopsy that a recovery just wasn't in the cards. But you tried
everything that you could think of to make her remaining months quality
ones, and when the time came when she needed your help to end her sufferring,
you were there as well.
There is nothing easy about putting a loved one to sleep and most
of us share your sadness, if not for Cpi, then for those of ours which
we have lost. But you were there when it counted most, and you gave her
two good months which I'm sure she appreciates wherever she is now.
Now you have two ferrets which still need your care and love.
Remember Cpi in the good times, and I hope that this bad time will pass
quickly for you.
