Many years back, my "child-ferret" Corky developed a fondness for
sanitary napkins. Clean, not so clean, they were all the same to him
and he would climb and/or dig into any drawer or garbage can to get
them. Once firmly in his mouth he would run through the house with
them regardless if we were alone or friends were over. Of course, in
those days few people knew what a ferret was let alone ever saw one
so I would be asked "what is THAT running through the house and WHAT
is in his mouth?"

One Christmas I decided to give my guy a real treat. I went out and
bought a package of the napkins and decorated them with ribbon and
loosely hung them on the lowest branches of the Christmas tree. When
Corky came into the room Christmas Eve and saw his "presents" he was
beside himself lol...but friends and family really had to question
my somewhat odd choice of Christmas ornaments that year.
