Hello to All
It is really nice to see the kind things that people have written about
Zoo. They are true...and more: More than most could imagine. Her love
of ferrets runs true and deep; all the way to Gods ear. I think it is
his right one. :-) When she dies, she is going to be besieged by
thousands of little ones, and bask in their love without ferret poop.
Her knowledge of ferret health has saved my ferrets many a time. Sadly,
no vets in my area know much about ferrets. One I used to think a great
deal of now has her/his own business. And I hear stories about
situations that show that this person changed.
Zoo has spoken to several of my vets over the years on my cell phone
while I am in the vet room with a sick ferret to share her knowledge.
Her sanctuary has so many old frail ferrets. The work is
endlessssssssssssssssssssss. My vets have appreciated and listened
to Zoo.
The times she drops what she is doing with one ferret to come to
the aid of another that is crashing is so often that it seems like
breathing the next breath. And that poor wee one that seems a lost
cause comes back to the world of naughty ferrets to investigate
someone's butt and to piddle in front of the sink with the best of
them.
It costs a ton of money to do what she does. She does not skimp. If you
go to her site, you will get an idea of what an unusual place she runs.
Please consider donating. It would be a deduction. And it is badly
needed right now. She does not get the many volunteers and fosters of
other shelters I know of out in corn country.
Anyway, it is heartwarming to read nice things about Zoo. She is so
modest; and one of the finest people that I have ever met.
Hope you are all enjoying the summer,
Lisette
