Gentle Readers...

Auctions for ferret shelters are great, but....
putting them on a social network site, that requires a login for
access, is just plain bad for your auction/fund raiser.

Many people will not use a social network, due to the inherit danger of
computer disaster. More and more companies are banning access to them
from company computers, due to the nasties found within...Facebook
being the worst of the lot.

So...with Sandy creating a ruckus on the East Coast, and a much-needed
fundraiser for the Oregon Ferret Shelter on the Left Coast, think
twice about restricting access to the fundraisers to Facebook and
similar ilk.
