Sorry for the late response. We were a vendor at The Ferret 500 this
past weekend. Great show and had a super time!
When speaking with Steve Yarbrough last month, he stated that a company
in Colorado (Ray Allen) had purchased their company J & J Commerce
(located in Galesburg, IL) and had moved headquarters to Colorado.
He & others in the small animal line, unfortunately lost their jobs.
He stated that the company was only keeping the dog and cat lines. The
Ferret Depot has always been a small division of a larger company. At
the time I spoke with Steve, he was under the impression that as soon
as the small animal inventory was gone, Ferret Depot would follow suit.
When no else spoke up, I did with the information I had at the time.
Still, it's too bad that Steve no longer has a job!
Sorry if my post caused any confusion.
Ferret hugs,
Kathy
