Most people don't know Joanne Dreeben's shelter has been around
Yonkers, NY for nearly thirty years. That's because Joanne does her
thing day to day with her crew of volunteers and established colleagues
in various places, including the Bronks Zoo. Her shelter is almost
always full and she works hard to get the adoptable ferrets into safe
and healthy forever homes. Joanne's shelter is the recipient of the
