The red skin is not from a liver or blood disease. If we put a skin
lotion, A & D, or vasiline on it the red skin gets better. It lasts
for a couple days and then gets inflamed again. If it was from a
liver or blood disease it would not get better from the lotion that
we put on it.

I was hoping to find something that would be safe for the ferret. I'm
afraid that the lotion or A & D could make her sick. Right now we are
going to keep up the A & D each night and see if we can keep it away.

Thank you for your thoughts and if it was a liver disease we would
definitely want to treat that
