Gizmo and her companion Taz joined us last spring at the estimated age
of 5 yrs old. Gizmo's person was deaf and not well skilled on ferret
care. Gizmo wasn't much of a people ferret but she tolerated the
numerous hugs and kisses from me. She was a sweet quiet older lady with
a healthy appetite for recipe. She chose a single level cage as her
own. She enjoyed Pro Plan Kitten food for her kibble. About a month ago
she started having bouts of abnormal respiration. We had a vet visit
and Gizmo was diagnosed with heart disease, with a poor prognosis. We
started her on medications and took it day by day. She did fairly well
till Monday evening. Gizmo left our realm at 10:46 pm last night. RIP
angel Gizmo.

In Gizmo's memory, please spend extra time with your ferrets, and if
you have the room in your heart, home, and finances, please consider
adding a needy ferret to your family.
