If I could hold you one more time
I'd tell you what I'd do
I'd scoop you up, and hold you close
And not let go of you.

I'd hold on til forever
For forever never ends
I'd wish away your illness
Yes, you'd be on the mend

But I can't hold you one more time
For Heaven's your new home
I think of you and miss you so
I know I'm not alone

The Angels that are there with you
Are with me too each day
To give me peace and comfort
and tell me you're ok
