I want to thank everyone who responded to my question. I did get in
touch with Caleb at animal control in Palacios, Texas and he went to
the property to check to see if there were any animals. He said when
he looked in the window he could see cages, but no animal movement. I
told him that ferrets sleep a lot and he needed to go inside and look
in each cage. He said he couldn't and he contacted officer Hunt from
the Police Department. Officer Hunt went to the property and looked in
each cage. He said there were no ferrets there or on any part of the
property. I'm still concerned about the ferrets and hope they are some
where safe and cared for. It really worries me with all those empty
cages. I'm still trying to get in touch with his daughter, but so far
no response. I called a number a lady from the FML had for Micheal
Forrest and left a message. I'll let you know anything new I find out
about the ferrets and how they are doing.
