I have noticed lately that my ferret has had hiccups a bit more than
usual. Not all the time, but several times recently. Today when I
picked him up (I try to do so carefully, around the rib cage) he
started hiccuping too.

Is this a bad sign in any way? He is 4 years old (as of yesterday)
and he seems very healthy.
