Hi everyone. As you all know our annual auction is fast approaching.
June 1, 2013 at the Fairhill Fairgrounds in Fairhill (Elkton) Md.
Free Admission!
Festivities start at 12.
We will have 2 raffles and then the live auction will begin with
non ferret items and then ferret items.

We will also be having our annual photo contest. Below is the flyer.
So get snapping those photos and get them to Doreen as soon as
possible. The prizes are really great this year. And they can be
of any one of your pets: ferrets, dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs,
rabbits, lizards, etc.

Amateur PET Photo Contest
Submit your photo (sizes up to 5x7 permitted) of your pet by 12:30pm
on June 1st.

You can enter three different ways;
1) deliver in person the day of the event,
2) Email your entry by Friday, 5/30th, 5pm to

   or
3) Mail in advance to 127 Granite Run Drive, Conowingo, MD 21918

No professional photographs permitted.

Limit 5 entries per individual; previous years' entries are excluded.
No pet or owner identification permitted to be displayed during
judging. You do NOT have to be present to win.

Photos will be displayed and judged by the general public between
12:30 and 4:30pm.

Anyone can be a judge; just stop by the Photo Center and vote for your
favorite by placing a dollar ($1) ticket in the appropriate bag for
your favorite (feel free to vote for your favorite entry or multiple
entries, as many times as you like; remember every vote helps the
shelter!). Winners will be announced at 5pm, or immediately following
the auction. Any ties will be re-judged with a special "free" vote for
all in attendance.

Prizes will be awarded for the top entry in each category.
Categories will include 1) Ferret, 2) Other and
3) Photographer's Best (based on photographic talent)

All proceeds will benefit Oxford Ferret Rescue. All prizes have been
donated.

Thank you for all you do to help Claudia and all the ferrets in her
care.
