Here you can see Cleo eating her first meal after falling into
depression, and also Fikadu, the excitable car buyer, and me at lunch
with one of his friends, and a typical "fasting" lunch.

The Ethiopian Orthodox Christians are in the middle of their longest
fast -- about 2 months. No animal protein is allowed. Children under 7
are exempt. Also pregnant women. If a person observes all of the fasts,
s/he fasts half of the year.
