My sweet ferret who almost became crab bait needed a name......I
thought Blizzard because it was "blizzard" fleece the woman was cutting
when she asked me if I wanted a ferret plus in memory of the famous
"Blizzard". Then Ghost kept coming to mind because of the visions of a
white ghostly ferret being dragged deeper and deeper into the ocean in
my dreams. Since my boyfriend was the driver during my little escapade
I decided to ask him what he thought I should name my new white
ferret.......Whitey. I should have know better than to ask a guy who
grew up on a ranch and wears a cowboy hat wherever he goes...even on
a cruise ship. Brown horses are named Brownie, black horses are named
Blackie, dogs with spots are named Spotty and white ferrets are named
Whitey.
