Hello,

I would love to add my license plate to the mix!

When I moved here to North Carolina, someone called ferrets Fur
Piggies, which I loved!

I had a license plate added to my car that also has a hammock in the
rear window, held in place with suction cups on the rear windshield,
and a stuffed, very realistic looking ferret in the hammock. On the
side window is a bumper sticker I made that read: "My Ferret is Smarter
than Your Honor Student"

The license plate read: FUR PIGZ

Several cars have nearly rear-ended me looking at the ferret and the
license plate, and I was pulled over by a Highway Patrolman who told
me I could not carry a live animal in the hammock. He did laugh when I
showed him that the ferret was a stuffed one!

I even had the driver of a car next to me roll down his window and ask,
"Does your plate mean that you don't like people who wear fur coats?"
When I answered in the negative, he then asked, "Since you're from NC,
does it mean that you're *For* Pigs?

I told him what it actually meant, and he laughed out loud!
