Beforte I'm hit with a lawsuit from the Lay-Z-Boy people, I thought I should
post this correction I received from Fara on the stats I posted theother day
 
"Dear Sir or Madame,
 
    In reading over my copy of the letter sent to you earlier today, I
noticed an error. The last line on the forst page should read,
    ".50% of all ferrets who die at or before age 4.5 die of being
crushed in the mechanisms of reclining chairs.""
 
    Lest anyone think I'm purposely picking on Fa, let me assure you
otherwise. Last time I looked, we were all in the same 'business', that of
promoting the ferret as the domesticated, pet quality animal we all know and
love. I was just taken aback by her missive expressing her anger over being
misquoted, when she had misquoted the press release. Despite the overwhelming
response the Census has received, thus far, it will mean next to nothing if
we don't get maximium participation from all concerned ferret owners and clubs.
