We haven't been entirely successful either. We've got about six litter boxes
spread around the apartment (not counting the one in their cage). It seems
that if they're preoccupied with something, which is most of the time ::-),
they're more careless than when they're not.
One thing we try to do when we see one of the terrors backing up is to scoop
her up and drop her in a litter box. We usually have to do this several times
before nature's call wins out over the ferret's natural persistance.
