Midwest Ferret Fellowship Faire .....
 ... there's a new twist ....
 
After 8 years of hosting independent shows, this year's Faire will be
sanctioned by the American Ferret Association. The MFF joins 8 other
AFA sanctioned ferret shows in Pennsylvania, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois
and Virginia. More specifically, the MFF Faire joining the Ferret 500,
Buckeye Bash and Greatest Show on Earth creates a "Midwest Area" so to
speak. For anyone who may not know, to qualify for AFA's "Ferret Of The
Year" awards, a ferret must be shown in at least 4 AFA shows in the
same Title or Specialty class within the same year so these 4 shows
make it more convenient.

The Midwest Ferret Fellowship is hosting this event to support the West
Michigan Ferret Connection, a home-based ferret rescue based in Grand
Rapids that has been in existence since October 2001 and has re-homed
over 500 ferrets during this time.

The Faire is also moving to a new location: Rivertown Sports in
Grandville (2605 Sanford Avenue SW, Grandville MI 49418).
