I can't answer your question about using Vicks in a vaporizer. However,
I have been working with wildlife for many years and have occasionally
used Vicks. I put a tiny amount on a cloth, and attach the cloth to the
OUTSIDE of the cage, so they cannot have physical contact with it. I
have used this with ferrets a time or two also. You can also put some
on a cloth, put the cloth in a closed plastic container, and punch
holes in it. Vicks should be used only very short-term.
