We had some carpet beetles ride in on a bag of Swheat Scoop cat litter
(cat use only-so switched back to clay) and I've been meticulously
dusting, vaccuming, cleaning for a couple weeks and still finding them.
I was considering trying a product at Home Depot, EcoSMART Home/Indoor
spray http://www.ecosmart.com/, that claims to be a pet safe, natural,
organic pesticide that kills/repels a range of pests including these
buggers. I never trust that anything claiming to be "pet safe" is safe
around the ferts, but wanted to check and see if anyone here has had
any experience with this product? I was thinking of spraying it in the
basement where the litter was stored as an experiment to see if it
even works against this strain of bug. Basement is off-limits to the
ferrets/cat/rabbit.

Would love any thoughts/experiences on this product or ferret-safe
suggestions for carpet beetle eradication!

Thanks in advance!

Kathryn
