This sounds like a great idea--something to add to raw (perhaps ground)
turkey or chicken. The question is how to get your ferret to eat it.
Usually if they are used to kibble, they won't eat anything else. My
Spooky won't even adjust to a different bag of the same brand and
flavor of kibble. He won't eat the soup I made either. At Know Better
Pet Food they say to stop feeding all kibble. What if your ferret is
already thin and won't eat the raw stuff?

I'd be very interested to hear of people's experience with this food.
I'd love to get mine on a raw or at least more meat based (even if
cooked) diet.
