I have ferrets that have had echos for various conditions. no ferret
has ever needed anesthesia, a calm owner to hold, using a calm voice
has been enough to be able to keep the ferret sufficiently still and a
vet who will allow the owners participation in the process (mine does
and says he wishes all his owners would help in this way).
