For all of us here it is not unexpected but may others it would be:

That big pile of packing paper had the ferrets busy for OVER TWO HOURS
yesterday! They ambushed each other, made noisy leaps, moved around
chunks of paper larger than they are, and later sought out treats
Steve cut very small among the paper folds. All of them slept so hard
afterward. We have the papers crumpled into a shopping bag now and if
the ferrets want to unpack that today they can but otherwise we will
wait a day or two and then pull the papers out again into a light
weight mountain of joy. We get Terre Bormane Aulente, Fini, and
Frantoia (and more) and the ferrets get paper and EVERYONE in the
household is very, very happy!
