We have had excellent results w Suprelorin but of course the serious the TYPE and size of growth present in the adrenal or adrenals then the less effective the med will be. Lupron and Suprelorin are in the same class of meds so this vet post may also be applicable for discussions of Suprelorin and blood glucose: http://ferrethealth.org/archive/YPG1417 It is best to use Suprelorin and melatonin together since melatonin has a weaker effect but they use different pathways so using them together can have cumulative positive effects. Fur regrowth is a BAD predictor of how well treatment for adrenal growths is doing. Melatonin can regrow fur through two pathways including one that is solely dermal. Further info on these things is present in the FHL Archives and most (probably all) also in the FML Archives. Sukie (not a vet) Ferrets make the world a game.
