I Saw Mommy Clipping Ferret Claws

I saw Mommy clipping ferret claws
sitting by the Christmas tree last night.
it shouldn't be much work
but one toe it has a quirk.
And now she's wearing ferretone all over her new shirt!

Then I saw Mommy clip more ferret claws
sitting with a 'bino on her lap.
But she couldn't see the quik
and gave one toe a nick.
When I saw her clipping claws last night!
