Another option might be to use lists of ferret vets like the one found
through the files section of the Ferret Health List to find a vet who
regularly treat ferrets because a number of those are already using
Lupron DEPOTS or Suprelorin IMPLANTS and that reduces fuss and cost.
It is amazing how many people are surprised to find they have somone
nearby who is used to ferrets, with nearby meaning within an hour by
car.

Alternatively, importation info for Suprelorin imports which give timed
release of deslorelin is in the archives of the FML and the FHL.

Do NOT use the daily versions of Lupron or deslorelin since those can
backfire and worsen the problem. To learn why go to the Miamiferret
website and in adrenal disease in the menu and open the section on 24
hour Lupron.
